Almost there....

Well it is hard to believe that we are headed east on Tuesday! Minnie was excited to go to sleep tonight because she knew when she woke she could say "tomorrow we leave!"

I understand the way she thinks:)

Nora's mom has been here this past week awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild. We are all hoping and praying the baby will arrive before we leave. But even if the baby doesn't, we sure have enjoyed Susan's company and our late night talks. As The Dad says, she is one of the most interesting 'conversationalist'...we love to talk with her!


We have a busy day tomorrow--the boys play in a regional golf tournament. Last week's tourney was exciting--chip won his age group and mickey broke 50 on 9 holes (shot a 48). They played mid day in the heat so i am just glad they didn't melt!

Tomorrow they play early in the AM so we have to leave here by 6am for a 7:30 tee time (they need to warm up, etc) and then when we get home we will finish packing (3/4 all done), give the house a good clean (so nora won't have to worry about it as she awaits the baby's arrival) and then it will be pizza a la Nora, early to bed and an early flight east on Tuesday.

We can't wait to visit with all of our friends back home. We are looking forward to seeing our house, our green grass, and mostly our friend's smiling faces:)


well...i have more packing to do.... so for now , goodnight...and when i post next i will be able to say 'tomorrow we leave!'
