Friends and Halloween

Yesterday morning, our first visitors arrived! Chris, Praise, and Brian D. and Kaylee M. got their first glimpse of the wild-and-o-so-cool west. All they said was, "Wow, this is different." It made a huge impression on them, obviously.

Anyway, the Mom suggested picking pumpkins. Did you say "picking pumpkins"? Yes, well, picking pumpkins in a parking lot with a dirt floor and a couple of hay bales. Beggars can't be choosers. After "picking pumpkins" we hurried home (with a stop at Starbucks on the way) to paint and/or carve the pumpkins. I always knew we had an artistic core. Just get a load of these fantastic pumpkins.

See? Beautiful. Gorgeous. Their own character. Ahhh. Okay. Sorry.

Then, Minnie asked for Kaylee and I to spray her hair blue. Sure. Here is the result (notice the five people with at least a little blue hair):

here is a note from kaylee,

Hi! we have had so much fun! the plane ride was great... it was so amazing flying over the clouds and seeing the sky and clouds meet.

we went swimming yesterday and carved pumpkins. Mine said "I LOVE AZ" and chip did this really cool pirate ship; twinkle painted hers so it looked like larry the cucumber, brian made his multi-colored, minnie made a face on her's... it was lots of fun.

today we are going to the Phoenix Zoo i think.

Last night, Halloween, we sprayed minnie's hair blue (with blue hair spray), then we did mason's, me and twinkle sprayed our bangs... then we sprayed the Mom's bangs and mrs.d. let us spray some of her bangs too.

i think that's all for right now! BYE!
