Dad - "6:00 PM, October 1... many years ago was a special time for us...."
Mom- "the landscape of our family changed"
Twinkle - "and I was now the responsible older sister of two"
Minnie - "hey, i was not among them yet!"
Mickey - "it was a fun day..." or so he's heard.
our Chip is now 12 years old and officially a young Man.. with all of the honor and responsibility that comes along with this rite of passage....
with that, Chip writes the ten things he's learned in his first 12 years:
1) bionicles are a never-ending toy
2) dogs are priceless
3) you can play Risk for hours
4) gamecube is a time-consumer
5) swimming in a backyard pool is fun
6) how to straighten girls' hair (wry grin)
7) getting up early is great
8) hank-the-cowdog is funny
9) how to play golf
10) i've learned how to fry a mean egg

Happy Birthday Connor, what a wonderful picture - I felt as though I could reach out and touch you. How's school? Anyone stopping by with goodies? Miss our spelling class - Bailey just won't sit still enough to spell. Keep checking your mail box - something is in the air : )
